Enabling the Administrator account using the command prompt is the quickest and easiest method. Restart your computer to effect the change and start using the account with the administrator privilege level. If you want to forgo the UI entirely, Command Prompt is another option. The net localgroup command lets you quickly change an account’s permissions without being too difficult to remember drivers download. In Windows 10, you’ll press the “Accounts” icon instead, then select “Family & other users” in the sidebar. Some features of the tool may not be available at this time.
Snip & Sketch also lets you print images, either by hitting Ctrl + P or going to the three dots in the right hand corner and finding “Print” in the drop down box. Knowing how to make a print screen can be an ideal way to save information or store an image for later. It’s an extremely useful tool on your computer to know how to use, and all it takes is a few steps to be able to take screenshots of your browser windows or programs.
The Photos app also includes a redesign, with a neat multiview feature that lets you compare a bunch of photos in a single window. On the taskbar, you’ll also find icons for Widgets and Microsoft Teams integration. Widgets is a new dedicated section in Windows 11 that flies out from the left-hand side of the screen. It houses the weather and news widgets that were added to the Windows 10 taskbar, but you can’t drag and drop these onto your desktop or elsewhere. You’ll notice the new Windows 11 design immediately if you upgrade. Microsoft has taken some clear cues from macOS, Chrome OS, and even Android and iOS here.
The app folder feature is currently not available, but it is set to return with Windows 11 version 22H2. Microsoft has also removed the option to open the Start menu in full screen. After upgrading to Windows 11, you can continue using this tool to safeguard your files. You may be worried about its unstable performance and bugs.
